Supported by TinkerHub and Mozilla,Kerala, 20+ Tinkerhub community members across Kerala organised an out of the box, out of syllabus, immersive programme, Kuttycoders. Kuttycoders is a 7 day bootcamp for school students to get the basics of coding. Coding is a basic literacy in the digital age, and it is important for kids to understand and be able to work with and understand the technology around them. Having children learn coding at a young age prepares them for the future. Coding helps children with communication, creativity, math, writing and confidence. The first edition of KuttyCoders was implemented in AISAT College, Kalamassery and was a huge success. 7 students were part of this one weeks training program and built projects on Web and App development.
